School Safety

At Natomas Charter School, ensuring the safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. Our students in grades TK-12 regularly engage in conversations around critical incidents and participate in safety drills, which are in alignment with California State requirements. These proactive measures help us prepare for potential emergencies and ensure that everyone on campus knows how to respond in a crisis in a safe and orderly manner.

Community Partnerships
We are proud to collaborate with the Sacramento Police Department and work closely with the Safety and Safe School Department at Natomas Unified School District. These partnerships enhance our ability to provide a secure learning environment and maintain ongoing communication with local authorities.

Comprehensive School Safety Plan
Our Comprehensive School Safety Plan is updated annually and approved by our Board of Directors. This plan is built in collaboration with our site principals, site Safety Teams, local law enforcement, and other community partners. NCS Comprehensive Safety Plan 2024-2025.

Anonymous Reporting Form
We take all reports related to school safety very seriously and are committed to investigating any concerns that arise. If you notice anything that could affect the safety of our students, staff, or community, we encourage you to report it using our Anonymous Reporting Form (linked below). Your vigilance helps us ensure a safe school environment for everyone.
